Company Overview:
A leading financial services firm is seeking a Tax Manager to provide comprehensive tax support to the firm and its clients, focusing on tax advice and preparation for various entities.
Job Responsibilities:- Participate with investment managers, clients, and attorneys in the income tax and estate planning process
- Prepare and review tax returns including 1040, 1041, 709, 990, 1065, and 1120 forms
- Consult with company personnel and clients regarding tax matters
- Correspond with tax authorities to resolve notices
- Prepare projections of tax liabilities and review declarations of estimated tax
- Interface with Operations Department to pay taxes
- Assist with special projects and establish departmental policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree and 6-10 years of related industry experience
- CPA designation or Enrolled Agent
- Understanding of portfolio accounting, investment process, and corporate tax
- Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience with CCH Axcess, Tamarac, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Quick Books, and Sure Prep is a plus
Salary: $125,000 - $155,000, Plus Bonus
