Accounting & Finance Manager - Global RE

We’re partnering with a highly respected global private investment firm that’s looking to add a Manager to its Real Estate investments & finance team. This is a broad fund finance role supporting a sophisticated portfolio of private real estate investments and offers meaningful ownership across accounting, reporting, valuations, fund operations, and team management.

The position is well suited for someone with a strong foundation in real estate accounting, fund finance, or Big 4 audit who is ready to step into a more senior seat. You’ll work closely with senior finance leadership, investment professionals, administrators, auditors, and other teams across the firm while overseeing key financial processes for the platform.

• Broad ownership: Oversee financial reporting, NAVs, valuations, capital activity, audits, and other core finance functions across private real estate funds.
• High-level exposure: Work closely with senior finance leadership and investment professionals on fund activity, portfolio reporting, and complex transactions.
• Leadership opportunity: Review work performed by junior team members and third-party administrators while helping develop the broader finance team.
• Real estate focus: Gain exposure across fund-level accounting, property operations, investment valuations, and the full lifecycle of private real estate investments.
• Cross-functional role: Partner with Investment, Investor Relations, Tax, Legal, external administrators, and auditors on a wide range of reporting and investment-related matters.

• Oversee quarterly NAVs, investor capital statements, financial reporting, and supporting work prepared internally or by third-party administrators.
• Review quarterly and annual financial statements and ensure reporting is accurate and consistent with underlying fund activity.
• Manage the annual audit process and serve as a key point of contact for external auditors.
• Oversee management fee, carried interest, capital call, distribution, and other partnership calculations.
• Support quarterly valuation processes and review financial information related to underlying real estate investments.
• Monitor fund liquidity, cash activity, investment funding requirements, and other fund-level activity.
• Review financial reporting from portfolio investments and analyze property and investment performance.
• Partner with investment teams and other internal stakeholders on acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and other investment activity.
• Maintain the integrity of portfolio accounting systems and underlying general ledger records.
• Research accounting and industry guidance as it relates to private real estate investments and financial reporting.
