Fund Accounting Manager, Alternative Investments

Pay Rate Range:

Approximately $105,000 base salary + approximately $10,000 annual incentive opportunity, depending on experience

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, investment managers, and internal teams
• Manage and delegate work across a team of fund accountants while ensuring client deliverables are accurate and completed on time
• Review and approve month-end valuations, reconciliations, and accounting reports
• Work closely with transfer agents, technology teams, vendors, and internal service groups to resolve issues
• Support day-to-day client inquiries related to transactions, reporting, financial statements, and fund administration
• Assist with staffing needs, interviewing, and hiring as the team continues to grow
• Partner with business development and relationship management teams on prospect calls, client meetings, and presentations
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the client experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in fund accounting or fund services
• Direct experience with alternative investments is required, ideally within private equity and/or hedge funds
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills
• Ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment
• Competitive base salary of approximately $105,000
