About the Family Van:

The Family Van/Mobile Health Map Program of Harvard Medical School is seeking a Data & Systems Integration Specialist to implement, promote and contribute to the growth/strategy of our programs. The Family Van is a mobile clinic founded in 1992 that works with low-income Boston communities to improve the health and well-being of residents and their families. By taking preventive health care directly to medically underserved communities like Roxbury, Dorchester and East Boston, The Family Van improves health outcomes among people whose needs are not fully met by the traditional health care system.

This innovative model of health care delivery is grounded in clinical evidence and has demonstrated improvements in important health outcomes. Mobile Health Map (MHM), a program of Harvard Medical School, is a national leader in strengthening mobile healthcare and improving access to care for underserved communities. As the Data & Systems Integration Analyst, you will play a key role in implementing MHM's technical and analytic work for State Mobile Health Care Expansion with the goal of increasing access to high-quality healthcare for rural residents across the United States, especially for communities facing significant barriers to care.

Job Description

This role will help design and operationalize data infrastructure, implement performance measurement frameworks, and support continuous quality improvement (CQI) for The Family Van and The Mobile Health Map platform.

  • Improve MHM's data quality, coverage, and integration with relevant public datasets.
  • Analyze and visualize data to support an annual impact report and strategic communications for external audiences (e.g., policymakers, funders, partners).
  • Help increase participation by mobile clinics in MHM, including supporting onboarding, data submission, and relationship-building with key partners.
  • Contribute to tools and analytic insights that position mobile clinics, especially rural units, as essential providers in the U.S. health system.
