Community Liaison Officer: Summer Main Street Presence

The Barnstable Police Department is seeking Community Services Officers for an internship program on Cape Cod's Main Street. CSOs act as liaisons between sworn personnel and businesses, tourists, and residents, providing a visible department presence seven days a week.

The position emphasizes maturity, outgoing demeanor, and the ability to communicate clearly in person and over the radio. Training covers CPR/First Aid, safety, community policing, and operation of the internal records system.
