We are a boutique medical spa in Boston, MA that, since inception, has been a trusted name in the field, serving the South End community and beyond.
We seek a part-time experienced, licensed Medical Aesthetician who will be able to uphold our high standards of care and customer service. Our ideal candidates are energetic, customer service oriented, and able to provide the best-in-class services our clients are used to.
As an Aesthetician with our company, you would be responsible for using your professional knowledge of skincare products and therapeutic interventions to offer in-office, non-surgical services/procedures as well as advise on skincare products that patients can use at home.
Key Responsibilities- Perform aesthetic consultations and assessments to ensure their suitability for non-surgical treatments.
- Determine patient skincare goals and objectives, provide patients with instructions and educational materials that relate to their unique skin type, and recommend adjustments, products, and services for their skincare regimen as appropriate.
- Perform treatments (where allowable by law) including but not limited to Hydra Facials, custom facials, dermaplaning, chemical peels, IPL/BBL, LHR, and additional skincare treatments.
- Assist with med spa inventory & supply orders.
- Must maintain yearly continued education and stay current on product lines & services.
- Professional appearance reflecting the industry.
- Positive work ethic that fosters teamwork!
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college/college degree highly preferred).
- Current/active state licensure as an aesthetician.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an aesthetician in a medical environment (dermatology practice/medi-spa/plastic surgery practice setting).
- Proven business-growth experience as evidenced by a lasting client base with high-percentage retention.
- Possesses wide-ranging knowledge of skincare treatment, elective services, and products.
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated, self-starting professional.
- Basic computer skills needed.
- Familiarity/experience using EMR systems highly preferred.
- Saturday availability required.
- Must be able to legally work in the US. Sponsorship not offered.
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with qualifications & experience. Total Compensation: $32 - $42/hr (base + bonus + commission). Supplemental pay types include a monthly productivity bonus and commission on services performed and products sold.
Job Type: Part-time position available, 3 days/week (including Saturdays).
