The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at BMC-Brighton, a member of the Boston Medical Center Health System, is seeking a full-time, experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team. This position will serve the practice at BMC-Brighton. The St. Margaret’s Center for Women and Infants at BMC-Brighton offers an intimate, personalized patient care experience with expert doctors, nurse midwives, and nurses.
BMC-Brighton is in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, near some of Boston’s major universities. The hospital serves a diverse patient population from the Boston area and beyond.
BMC-Brighton, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is comprised of sub‑specialties including General Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology. BMC-Brighton serves as a tertiary care hospital and is a teaching hospital of Boston University School of Medicine and Tufts University School of Medicine.
- Incoming OB/GYN PA or CNM will work independently and in collaboration with a team of physicians
- 40‑hour work week which includes nights/weekends/holidays
- Performs bedside procedures, as appropriate to the patient population
- Act as the first assist in procedural areas or the operating room
- Teaching opportunities are available as well as involvement with ongoing quality improvement initiatives
- PA or CNM with experience in Obstetrics/Gynecology are encouraged to apply
- Graduation from an accredited program
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
- Current Massachusetts license to practice is required
- Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of OB/GYN experience and/or strong interest in OB/GYN
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills - Demonstrate clinical expertise for functioning in an independent role
$83,000.00- $
This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licenses as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
