BLS certification required.

- Pediatric vascular access experience, including Heme Onc and ICU.
- Proficiency in IV placement skills.
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics to adults.

Description:

We are seeking a Pediatric IV Therapy Registered Nurse for our Vascular Access Team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the pediatric vascular access specialty and be skilled in ultrasound-guided IV placements.
Candidates must demonstrate competence with implanted vascular access devices and peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC).
Experience in monitoring IVs and making recommendations on the types of IVs required is essential.
The role requires efficiency in IV insertion and troubleshooting vascular access issues.
Candidates should be familiar with policies and procedures for the facility.
This position will involve working with patients who have veins that are difficult to visualize or palpate.
Colleagues will benefit from specialized equipment designed for vascular access procedures.
Weekend shifts will be required as part of the schedule.
Candidates must be adaptable and committed to providing high-quality care.
