Travel RN - Pediatrics

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access Team role requiring pediatric vascular access and ultrasound-guided IV skills.

Job Details

• Work in an acute care hospital on the Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access Team,

• Care for pediatric through adult populations requiring vascular access procedures,

• Responsibilities include ultrasound-guided IV placement and use of vein finder technology,

• Shifts are 12 hours with a rotation between day and night shifts (starts at 7 AM, 11 AM, or 7 PM, 3x12 schedule),

• Weekend shifts are required,

• Uses EPIC for charting,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license required,

• Minimum of 2 years pediatric vascular access team experience,

• Experience with ultrasound-guided IV placement and vein finder required,

• BLS certification required,

• Pediatric Vascular Access (VAS), Heme Onc, or ICU experience required,

• Must be able to provide vascular access for pediatric and adult patients,

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position,

• Local candidates are accepted; pay differential applies within 50 miles,

• Facility is a Magnet hospital with a Level III/IV NICU and Level I Trauma center,

• Any solid color scrubs required for all units,
