Per-Diem Outpatient Pharmacist - Yawkey Pharmacy

Overview

Under the supervision of the Outpatient Pharmacy Administrative Director and/or Pharmacy Manager, and according to department policies, procedures, and guidelines, is responsible for the compounding and dispensing of prescribed pharmaceuticals. Responsible for checking all medication prior to dispensing and delivery.

• Compounds and dispenses prescribed pharmaceuticals under supervision per department policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Checks all medication prior to dispensing and delivery.

• Education: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy. Advanced degree (e.g., Pharm
  
  D, MS, or MBA) preferred.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  
  Required:
  
  Requires licensure to practice pharmacy in the state of Massachusetts by the hire date.
• Experience: Requires at least two to three years related experience. QS1 experience preferred.
• Knowledge and
  
  Skills:
  
  Work requires a comprehensive understanding of the procedures, systems, and equipment used by pharmacists and technicians in the pharmacy as well as a high level of proficiency in performing pharmacist s duties and responsibilities. A high level of analytical ability, organizational and personal management skills; experience with information systems; excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills; professional conduct; proficient with standard software (MS Word, Excel, browsers).

Compensation Range: $39.90 - $57.93

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
