Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $18.00/hr facility:
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (31020).
Shift and schedule information: 14 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12-hour rotating shifts. Shift times include 8:00 PM – 8:30 PM, 9:30 PM – 10:00 PM, 11:00 PM – 11:30 PM, and 12:00 AM – 12:30 AM. East PACU is open Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–11:30 PM. In a 4-week block, the RN is expected to be assigned to 5 or more later shifts.
Job description details: MA license required and flu vaccine required after 09/02. ACLS/BLS required. Involves recovery of OR, IR, and GI patients receiving anesthesia. Epic EMR used. Prior travel is required. No local candidates will be considered at this time.
Other requirements:
Separation from BILH for 6 months if previously worked perm, per diem, or travel. Parking details available by request.
Call is 2300–0800, with one night on-call shift per week. If called in, minimum of 4 hours. There are 2 night on-call nurses each night to cover PACU needs. Patient ratio is 2:1 and ASPAN guidelines are followed. There are 2 PACUs:
Shapiro PACU for Outpatients and Feldberg PACU for Same Day Admissions or Inpatients.
