Position Summary
This role involves performing both routine and complex obstetrical ultrasound examinations under a physician's guidance, collaborating closely with radiologists, and ensuring that imaging procedures are appropriate for patients' clinical needs. The position includes responsibilities such as assessing and addressing patients' needs, troubleshooting equipment and scheduling issues, contributing to departmental operations and research, and providing training and support to trainees and staff, all while maintaining a commitment to excellence, communication, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities- Education:
Associates degree, Diagnostic Medical Sonography - License/Certification:
Must be OBGYN registered or eligible for certification by the ARDMS. - Must meet, successfully complete, and maintain the ARDMS certification and registration within one year of hire date.
- BLS certification
The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
