Travel RN - Psychiatric

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a rotating Psychiatric Unit position at an academic medical center in Boston, MA, requiring an active MA RN license and at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Job Details

• 24-bed inpatient medical-psychiatric unit treating patients with co-occurring psychiatric and medical conditions,

• Rotating shift schedule with a combination of days, evenings, and nights (approximately 50% of shifts will be evenings or nights),

• Charting is done in Epic,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license required - no pending or conditional licenses accepted,

• BLS certification required (AHA only),

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required,

• Psychiatric nursing experience preferred,

• Medical/medicine nursing experience preferred,

• IV therapy skills preferred,

• Phlebotomy skills preferred,

• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted,

• Two professional references required,

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care to patients with complex co-occurring psychiatric and medical conditions,

• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local and will receive a reduced pay rate,

• No validated parking is available at this Boston location - public transportation is encouraged; public parking lots are available nearby at the candidate's expense,

• Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos,

• Any approved time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration,
