MFM sonographer:
Clinical Imagingnn Perform comprehensive obstetric ultrasounds, including:nnn First trimester scans (NT, early anatomy) nnn Detailed second- and third-trimester anatomy surveysnnn

Growth and biophysical profiles (BPP) nnn Multiple gestationsnnn

Cervical length assessment nnn Placental evaluation/PASnnnDoppler studies (umbilical artery, MCA, ductus venosus) nnnnn

High-Risk & Specialized Examsnn Evaluate complex maternal and fetal conditionsnnn

Identify abnormal findings nnn Support fetal therapy and invasive procedures. (Sonographers do not guide or perform) nnnAmniocentesisnnn

Chorionic villus sampling (CVS) nnnPUBS (cordocentesis) nn Selective Fetal reduction are performed at this facility by physicians nnn Patient Carenn Provide compassionate care to patients facing high-risk pregnanciesnnn

Explain procedures while staying within scopennn

Maintain privacy and emotional sensitivitynn

Documentation & Workflownn Acquire high-quality diagnostic imagesnnn

Complete measurements accuratelynnn

Enter exam data into EMR/PACS systemsnnn

Ensure studies meet accreditation standards (AIUM/ACR) nnCollaborationn

Work closely with MFM physicians, Radiologists, nurses, genetic counselors, and support staffnn

Participate in multidisciplinary care coordination
