A healthcare facility in Boston, MA is seeking qualified pharmacists for a contract role to help manage increased workload during a system transition. This is an opportunity to contribute to long‑term care pharmacy operations in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Review and clear data entries (PV1 role)
- Verify and check prescriptions and documentation (PV2 role)
- Collaborate with pharmacy team to streamline workflow and catch up on backlog
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including opening and closing shifts Monday through Friday, and weekends as needed
- Adapt to a new system recently converted to Frameworks
- MA pharmacist license in hand (required)
- Prior long‑term care pharmacy experience preferred, but retail pharmacists with strong adaptability are welcome
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication skills for coordination with the pharmacy team and quick onboarding
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (flexible shifts)
- Saturdays: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (flexible weekend coverage)
- Approximately 4 to 6 weeks, until workflow stabilizes
