Overview

The Diagnostic Imaging - Anesthesia Assistant or Technician provides advanced sedation and anesthetic monitoring for patients receiving imaging services. The DI AX Tech works closely with anesthesiologists, anesthesia/surgical staff, radiology staff and other departments to support high-quality care at Angell Animal Medical Center.

Veterinary Assistants starting $22-$27/hour

Certified Veterinary Technicians starting $25-$30/hour, $5,000 Sign on Bonus for CVTs!

The DI AX Tech provides advanced sedation and anesthetic monitoring for imaging patients, assists with anesthesia-related patient care, and supports other technical staff in anesthesia. The role requires strong interpersonal communication, reliability, independence, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The DI AX Tech should have a strong technical background and knowledge of veterinary medicine, and be willing to lead and mentor other staff as needed.

The candidate should be willing to participate in continuing education and training of staff.
