This job can be described as:

The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator supports the day‑to‑day execution of established environmental, health, and safety programs across the Groveland campus. This role ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and internal company procedures by conducting routine inspections, maintaining documentation, supporting training activities, and coordinating emergency and safety response activities. The EHS Coordinator works closely with operations, maintenance, and other functional teams to ensure consistent application of established EHS practices and requirements.

On‑Site positions will require employees to work on‑site for each of their scheduled shifts.

A typical day at work would include:
  • Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly inspections related to environmental, health, and safety compliance.
  • Execute the established Lock‑out/Tag‑out (LOTO) program in coordination with operations, maintenance, and contractors.
  • Maintain hazardous waste requirements, including container labeling, weekly inspections, and waste stream profiling.
  • Maintain regulatory documentation, logs, permits, and records as required.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of chemicals in accordance with existing chemical management programs.
  • Support occupational health programs such as PPE compliance, hearing conservation activities, and blood borne pathogen requirements.
  • Serve as an evacuation coordinator and participate in first‑response activities during medical or facility emergencies.
  • Assist in delivering required EHS training using existing materials and programs.
  • Maintain emergency action plan documents and ensure training is conducted according to established procedures
  • Assist supervisors and managers with incident investigations using established tools and processes.
  • Track corrective actions and follow up to ensure completion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Provide basic regulatory information or updates related to existing programs (not responsible for developing new programs).
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and testing as assigned.
  • Identify potential hazards and communicate findings through established reporting channels.
  • Complete administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and reporting related to EHS programs.
  • Carry out additional tasks consistent with daily program execution needs.
  • Works under general supervision and follows established EHS processes and procedures.
