Travel Certified Surgical Technician

Position Details

• Professional license/certification as required for the position
• Certified Surgical Technician position at Brigham & Women's Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham in Boston, Massachusetts.
• Must have experience in a high capacity operating room.

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification (NBSTSA or NCCT only) required.
• Must have professional license and/or certification as required for the position.
• Must submit MGB Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city & state.
• Must provide 2 recent references, minimum 1 Supervisor or Above, in skillset.
• Must complete MGB Skills Checklist.

• Contract offers 4x10 or 4x12 hour shifts on Day/Evening rotation.
• Includes 2 weeks of nights per contract.
• Schedule includes at least 2 short calls each 4 week schedule and weekends.
• 4x10 evening shifts: 1pm-11pm; 4x10 day shifts: 7am-5:30pm M,T,Th,F; 9am-7:30pm W.
• 4x12 evening shifts: 11am-11pm; 4x12 day shifts: 7am-7:30pm M,T,Th,F; 9am-9:30pm W.
• When scheduled on weekends, shifts are 12 hours and combined with 8 or 10 hour shifts during the same week to meet contracted hours.

• MGB Badge Photo required for onboarding: color photo taken in past 6 months, no selfies or filters, plain background, symmetrical headshot, no eyeglasses.
• License/Certificate Verification required within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted.
• N95 Fit Test required within 365 days of start date and updated annually; no onsite fit testing available except on Martha's Vineyard & Nantucket if assignment extended.
• Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity required.
• TB test documentation required within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break.
• Physician Health Statement required within 365 days of start date and updated if >6 month break.
• MGB Criminal Background Check required within 45 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break.
• MGB Massachusetts CORI background check required within 30 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break.
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required.
• MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions.
• MGB Education Verification required through background check company.
• MGB SSN Trace required with criminal check.
• MGB National Sex Offender Check required within 30 days of start and updated annually.
• MGB Exclusion Checks required within 30 days of start and annually.
