We currently have a client in Boston, MA looking for a Licensed MRI Technologist. Candidates must be motivated, energetic, and support a positive, professional environment. Contract Assignment: 13 Weeks (Temporary). Shift: 3x12 Days.

Candidates need to possess phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail, strong procedural knowledge and patient safety. Compassionate, sensitive, critical thinker, and fast to act with emergencies.
Requirements- At least 2 years of recent, full-time MRI Technologist experience (minimum 20 hours per week). Proficient in MRI Technologist II duties.
- Valid license in the required state.
- BLS certification.
- Proficiency in MRI and required protocols for complex procedures.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to present information to customers, clients, and other incumbents.
- Ability to learn relevant applications.
- 2 years of hospital experience in a clinical area; EP preferred.
Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities- MRI Technologist operates equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients for diagnostics.
- Performs functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality while following safety protocols.
- Conducts patient studies according to protocol, including coil placement.
- Operates imaging devices, inputs scan sequences, adjusts transmitters/receivers.
- Interviews patients to explain procedures, addresses concerns, and maintains poise.
- Ensures patient and staff safety: explains protocols, removes hazardous metal, monitors patients.
- Orients new hires and trains MRI Technologist, students, trainees.
