As a Community Outreach Eligibility Specialist, you'll utilize innovative strategies and programs to ensure access to health care coverage for the underserved and impact millions of lives. Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain detailed knowledge of State and Federal insurance programs and effectively utilize such programs to ensure all eligible are enrolled in appropriate Mass Health programs
• Maintain detailed knowledge of Mass Health and attend all required Mass Health training forum meetings
• Assist in eligibility determination and completion of Mass Health applications
• Monitor, analyze and investigate pending applications and follow up as necessary
• Interview all prospects/members and authorized representatives to screen for eligibility and obtain vital information for the purpose of completing and submitting Mass Health applications
• Work with individuals and/or family to obtain all required documentation for the completion of Mass Health application
• Maintain proper documentation of all consumer interactions
• Assist existing members with Mass Health Renewal process
• Support the Sales/Marketing team by facilitating Mass Health applications for purpose of enrollment
• Support existing COR team by conducting community events when needed
• Establish and maintain internal and external relationships by leveraging the Mass Health Eligibility program
• Conduct educational presentations to community organizations
• Meeting or exceeding targeted growth, retention, and enrollment expectations
• Provide explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
• Share our mission to help people live healthier lives, throughout the communities we service

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain Health/Accident Insurance License within first 60 days of employment
• Basic level of knowledge of Mass Health/Medicare
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time (local domestic travel within the community)
• Reside within Suffolk County, MA
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license that will enable you to travel to client and/or patient sites within a designated area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience completing Mass Health Applications
• Community Outreach experience within healthcare
• Basic level of knowledge of Senior Care Options and One Care
• Bilingual in English/Spanish

The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.94 to $51.83 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
