Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer an exciting travel opportunity for a Radiation Therapist in Boston, MA. This contract consists of five 8-hour day shifts per week, totaling 40 hours, paying $3,200 a week.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Radiation Therapist:
Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to the prescribed plan using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques.
Perform patient assessments and create customized treatment plans in coordination with the radiation oncologist.
Ensure accurate positioning of patients and precise delivery of radiation to the targeted area, while minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissues.
Monitor patients during treatment sessions to ensure their comfort and safety.
Evaluate patient responses to treatments and adjust the therapy plan as necessary, in collaboration with the radiation oncologist.
Educate patients and their families about the radiation therapy process, possible side effects, and strategies for managing them.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, dosimetry data, and daily progress notes.

Requirements  of the Travel Radiation Therapist:
Valid Massachusetts state licensure or certification for Radiation Therapists
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in respiratory therapy
BLS and ARRT certifications
Knowledge of radiation physics, treatment planning, and radiation safety protocols.
Proficiency in operating various radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators and CT simulators.
