Schedule:
Part Time, 24 hours per week—Monday, Thursday, and Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM. On‑call rotation required, may include weeknights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Provide quality patient care while producing ultrasound images used for patient diagnosis and treatment. Complete scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Yes - Essential Functions:
- Patient & Exam Verification:
Confirm patient identity using two identifiers (full name and DOB). Review exam orders and clinical history. Prepare and clean equipment and rooms; restock supplies as needed. - Patient Care &
Collaboration:
Explain procedures clearly, considering patient comfort and confidentiality. Collaborate with leadership to ensure efficient workflow and scanner use. Provide care within scope of training and licensure. - Department & On‑Call Coverage:
Participate in on‑call, holiday, and flexible shift coverage as needed. - Clinical Performance:
Perform ultrasound exams and assist with training staff and students. Operate equipment and follow protocols. Complete additional duties as assigned. - Research & Quality Initiatives:
Support and participate in departmental research, QA, and improvement projects. Conduct research‑related ultrasound exams as required.

Other Certificate/Diploma Diagnostic Imaging required or Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Diagnostic Medical Sonographer required - Experience in lieu of a degree:
No - Licenses and Credentials:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred, required within 90 days of hire
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARMDS) preferred, OB/GYN or AB within 90 days of hire
- Experience:
Ultrasound Technologist experience 0‑1 year preferred - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Comprehensive understanding of computer operations relating to Imaging, Electronic Health Records, Reporting Systems, PACS, and all Hospital Information Systems that integrate with the Department of Radiology.
- Analytical abilities to utilize advanced knowledge of imaging processes, techniques, procedures, and anatomy.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to operational needs and represent the Department of Radiology positively.
- Excellent attention to detail, written, and communication skills; must be able to read and write in English.
- Use independent judgment and initiative under pressure in a variety of situations.
- Maintain effective working relations and communication with colleagues and patients.
