Position
Special Procedures Technician 1 (Radiology Technologist) – Performs interventional procedures using ionizing radiation under the direction of physicians.
Responsibilities- Radiology equipment.
- Transfer images to PACS system and check image quality and proper identification.
- Cleaning interventional equipment.
- Performing routine safety checks and inspections to ensure equipment is current, in good order and ready for use.
- Read, write and communicate in English.
- High school graduate or GED.
- Minimum of two years post‑technical‑school radiology experience (or six months recent experience within past two years as a Special Procedures Technologist).
- Graduate of a JRCERT‑accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
- Registered by ARRT.
- Licensed by the State of Massachusetts as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Current BLS certification required.
- ACLS and IABP required within six months of employment.
- Successful passage of Basic Arrhythmia Challenge Exam or Basic Arrhythmia course within twelve months of accepting the position.
- All qualifications of Tech I.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification (RCIS) or Cardiac Interventional certification (CI) or Vascular Interventional certification (VI) OR three years recent experience within last five years in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology (Job Code 8151).

- Completion of EP training program (Job Code 8152).
- All qualifications of Tech I.
- Five years recent experience within past five years in cardiovascular EP OR any two of the following:
Cardiac Interventional certification (CI), Vascular Interventional certification (VI), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification (RCIS), Completion of EP training program.
40 hours per week, rotating days/evenings (8 a.m.–4 p.m. or 9 a.m.–5 p.m.), occasional weekends & holidays. On‑call rotation (on‑site within 30 minutes) required for nights, weekends and holidays. On‑the‑job training provided, EP/IR cath rotation required.

CompensationThe pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value of Cape Cod Healthcare’s benefits package (if applicable), which includes among other benefits healthcare, dental, vision and retirement.
This role offers hourly pay at $37.63 – $55.65. Sign‑on bonus eligible.
