American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist (ARRT) with 2+ years of Rad Tech experience and RCIS certification for a 13-week contract in a high-volume cardiac cath lab setting.
Details- Work in a high-volume cardiac cath lab with 7 procedure rooms and a hybrid OR, all upgraded within the last 1–5 years
- 12-bay peri-procedural space available for patient prep and recovery
- Case mix ranges from outpatient right heart catheterizations and stable coronary angiograms to complex coronary, structural, and vascular interventions
- Lab averages over 30 cases per day
- Primary charting system is Epic; hemodynamic measurements are performed on the Siemens Sensis system
- Schedule is either 3x12-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call is possible during the contract; no weekend or holiday worked shifts — expect approximately 1–3 weeknight call instances and possibly 1 weekend call over the 13-week contract
- 13-week contract
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Rad Tech and 1+ year of travel experience required
- ARRT and RCIS certifications required
- ACLS required (AHA providers only; Red Cross not accepted at this location)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Siemens Sensis hemodynamic system experience preferred
- Active MA license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted
- License required if applicable
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist II serves as a critical member of the patient care team, collaborating with care team members to ensure continuity of care and promoting patient- and family-focused care
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
- No validated parking is available at this Boston location; public transportation is encouraged, and public parking lots are available at daily rates
- Time keeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
