The Collector II, under general supervision, performs collection activities for assigned accounts. Contacts insurance company representatives by phone or correspondence. Collects inaccurate insurance payments and penalties according to BSWH Managed Care contracts.
Maintains collection files on the accounts receivable system. Essential functions include contacting insurance companies to resolve payment issues, checking claim status, and ensuring accurate balances.
