Job Summary $750 Sign on bonus for applicable new hires, current MGB employees not applicable.
Schedule
40 hours | Days(4) 10 hours 8am-6:30pm | No nights
Alternating weekend/holidays required
The Endoscopy Unit provides total gastrointestinal care. Ninety percent of the patients are outpatient, and the remaining ten percent are inpatients or transfers from another facility. There are approximately 20,000 cases performed in the unit annually.
PCA supports room turnover, scope cleaning and recovery, patient escort/liaison, and stocking supplies. Endoscope scope processing is part of the PCA role in the Endo unit, contributing to the overall infection control program.
An ideal applicant for this unit must have professional license/certification to be considered.

Membership to MGB Fitness Center Summary Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Also assists with taking patients' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy and within established time frame and/or as requested.
Completes all documentation in the medical record as required.
Interacts with patients and their families effectively.
Helps patients with a number of basic hygiene tasks. This may include bathing and dressing patients, helping them use the toilet if needed, and feeding them.
Assist with helping patients turn and reposition themselves in bed as needed and help them move between the bed and a wheelchair if they use one.
Listens to any health concerns patients may have and report those concerns to the nurses.

Proficient in computer skills to work efficiently with electronic medical records.
