The Clinical Supervisor oversees and supervises Master’s level clinicians who evaluate, treat, and provide behavioral health services for patients in the BMC Brighton Department of Psychiatry. The role includes direct clinical care through individual, group, couples, and family psychotherapy with an anti‑oppression and health equity lens.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
  • Oversee daily onsite clinical activities and provide regular clinical and programmatic supervision to clinicians.
  • Provide clinical back‑up and support to teams as needed, including performance management of Master’s level clinicians.
  • Review cases and documentation to ensure compliance with approved protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community resources in overall patient care.
  • Deliver crisis intervention, psychosocial screening and assessment, counseling, and facilitation of hospital and community services.
  • Serve as a resource for information and referral, program development, and psychosocial consultation.
  • Manage clinical workflows and EHR training, mentor clinicians, and promote professional development.
  • Analyze and share performance metrics (e.g., panel size, show rates, productivity goals) with providers.
  • Ensure appropriate clinical supervision, consultation on cases, and implementation of therapeutic guidelines.
  • Assist the Clinical Manager with evaluation, promotion, disciplinary concerns, and termination of employees.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with leadership on professional practice standards.
  • Maintain competency in emergency procedures and respond to crisis situations.
  • Submit department statistics and reports within required time frames.
  • Attend scheduled staff meetings and in‑service education.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master’s degree in Social Work.
  • LICSW licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, written, and communication skills.
  • Experience in providing therapy and crisis intervention with patients (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation range: $75,500.00–$. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and other standard hospital benefits as listed on the company website.
