Respiratory Therapist – NICU

Schedule:

12-Hour Night Shift Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed

Hours:

72 Hours Biweekly

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required
• CPR-AHA
• NRP certification required
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• 2+ years related work experience required
• Certification to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, administer aerosolized medications, and provide oxygen therapy

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Work autonomously in a variety of clinical settings to administer respiratory care protocols.
• Provide respiratory care to patients within the NICU and special care nursery environments.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as necessary.

Compliance / Notes:

• Interviews conducted by NM.
• Travel restrictions:
  Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility.
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be presented at the time of submission.
• Travelers who have worked for the facility as permanent or per diem within the last six months are not eligible for this position.
