Respiratory Therapist – NICU
Schedule:
12-Hour Night Shift Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed
Hours:
72 Hours Biweekly
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required
- CPR-AHA
- NRP certification required
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
- 2+ years related work experience required
- Certification to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, administer aerosolized medications, and provide oxygen therapy
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Work autonomously in a variety of clinical settings to administer respiratory care protocols.
- Provide respiratory care to patients within the NICU and special care nursery environments.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as necessary.
Compliance / Notes:
- Interviews conducted by NM.
- Travel restrictions:
Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility. - All requests for time off (RTO) must be presented at the time of submission.
- Travelers who have worked for the facility as permanent or per diem within the last six months are not eligible for this position.
