10K Sign on bonus and relocation available! Physical and Occupational Therapy Department, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston MA. Experienced occupational or physical therapists needed for the treatment of patients with lymphedema and lipedema at a large teaching hospital. Massachusetts General Hospital’s Outpatient PT/OT Department is seeking a certified lymphedema therapist. The successful candidate will have completed full certification in lymphedema training (135 hours;
LANA not required) and bring experience treating this patient population. Hours can be negotiated (40 or less) with a minimum of a 3‑day per week schedule.
Location:

- Treat patients with lymphedema and lipedema.
- Conduct clinical examinations and evaluations.
- Provide individualized therapy plans and interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including oncologists, surgeons, and rehabilitation professionals.
- Participate in ongoing mentorship and potential research collaboration with the Lymphedema Research Program.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Minimum Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (state license) or equivalent professional credential.
- Certified in Lymphedema Therapy (135 hours). LANA certification not required.
- 3–5 years of experience as an occupational or physical therapist.
- Experience treating patients in a residential, assisted‑living, or skilled‑nursing facility preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time‑management skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong clinical examination and evaluation skills.
