ESD Assistant

Boston Children's Hospital seeks an ESD Assistant to support Housekeeping & Travel services in a leading pediatric healthcare environment. Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, clinical areas, and public spaces per hospital protocols
• Follow infection prevention and isolation procedures, including proper use of PPEHandle regular and biohazardous waste, linen collection, and disposal safely
• Restock supplies, linens, and amenities in assigned areas
• Support efficient room turnover between patients and procedures
• Operate housekeeping equipment (carts, floor machines, vacuums) safely
• Report maintenance and safety issues promptly to supervisors
• Follow hospital safety, quality, and patient privacy policies (e.g., HIPAA awareness)
• Assist with basic transport and way finding support for patients, families, and staff
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support a clean, safe care environment
