Clinical Social Worker, LICSW

The role involves providing social work support within a hospital's Emergency Department and inpatient services.
Key responsibilities include conducting biopsychosocial and trauma assessments, delivering trauma-informed, strengths-based interventions, and offering case management and advocacy for patients and families.
Responsibilities also encompass screening for social determinants of health, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, developing safety plans, and utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy. Crisis intervention, providing referrals, education, emotional support, and maintaining effective therapeutic relationships are integral to the position.
Applicants must have a master’s degree in social work and LICSW licensure in MA
. Prior medical social work experience, strong clinical skills, cultural competence, and comfort in a fast-paced environment are preferred. The role is a full-time onsite position with rotating evening/night shifts, offering a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.
