- Prepare and maintain the cath lab environment for interventional procedures, ensuring sterile technique and equipment readiness.
- Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including imaging support and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Operate and troubleshoot cath lab imaging systems and related equipment; monitor patient status with telemetry and hemodynamics.
- Document procedures accurately and communicate findings to the team; ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Assist with post-procedure care, patient transfer, and room turnover; respond to emergencies and code events as assigned.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support efficient workflow and patient outcomes; maintain supply inventories and equipment readiness.
- Active MA License
- Certifications:
ARRT or RCIS; BLS; ACLS - Experience:
2–3 years in a Cath Lab, with Impella, telemetry, and IABP experience - Competency:
able to independently read telemetry strips and pass a telemetry exam on day 1 with 85% or better - Ability to work in a fast‑paced cath lab environment and adhere to patient‑care standards
