BIDMC in Boston, MA is seeking a radiation oncology medical physicist to join our dynamic and friendly team. Our department uses treatment planning systems including Eclipse with Aria OIS, Accuray Precision, and Brachyvision. You will work alongside 19 physicists and dosimetrists, supporting multiple advanced treatment machines like True Beams, Cyber Knife M6, and brachytherapy programs.
We are part of a future collaborative cancer treatment structure with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, emphasizing innovation and research, including bioinformatics, AI, and deep learning. Board certification or eligibility is required, with a Ph.D. in Medical Physics or related field.
Responsibilities- Doctoral degree in Sciences; A certification preferred.
- 3-5 years related experience.
- Strong technical computer skills.
Decision making, problem solving, teamwork, customer service, and effective communication skills are essential.
