** Job Summary
** M–F, 3:45 PM – 11:15 PM (35 hrs/wk)    Summary   Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary environment within a hospital or healthcare facility.
Does this position require Patient Care?
No    Essential Functions    Sweep, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.  Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.  Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and door glass.  Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas.  Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenish restroom supplies as needed.  

Pick up debris around buildings and grounds.  Operate and control high- and low-speed stripping and buffing machines.  Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for special events and routine hospital activities.  Identify and report building maintenance needs in assigned buildings and facilities.

Licenses and Credentials Experience Experience  working with the cleaning equipment and chemicals used in hospitals and healthcare centers 2-3 years required
