Clinical Specialist – Gastroenterology / Endoscopy

Taurus Endoscopy is an early-stage medical device company developing next-generation tools for flexible endoscopy. We recently received FDA clearance for the Taurus Clip, a differentiated through-the-scope endoscopic clip designed for GI tissue closure and hemostasis, and we’re building our U.S. clinical and commercial organization.
We’re looking for an experienced Clinical Specialist to join us during this exciting early stage of our U.S. launch.

This is an opportunity to join at a formative stage of the company. You won’t simply be supporting an established product—you’ll work closely with company leadership and have a direct line from what you observe in the procedure room to how we train customers, launch the product, and design the next generation of Taurus technology.

This is a hands-on, clinically focused field role for someone who enjoys being in the procedure room, working directly with physicians and endoscopy teams, and helping bring new medical technology into clinical practice. You’ll be one of Taurus’s primary clinical representatives across the Eastern U.S., supporting procedures, training new users, and gathering detailed feedback from real-world use to help shape both our commercial launch and future products.

This is not a quota-carrying sales position. Clinical case support and clinical discovery are the primary focus, with secondary responsibility for supporting account development and the sales process.

• Support endoscopic procedures using Taurus products and provide real-time technical guidance during cases
• Develop training content; proctor and train physicians, nurses, and endoscopy technicians on device preparation, deployment, and troubleshooting
• Support new-account evaluations, onboarding, and go-live activities
• Capture structured case and device-performance data during early clinical use
• Gather voice-of-customer feedback and identify unmet clinical needs, workflow challenges, and opportunities for product improvement
• Translate clinical observations into clear, actionable feedback for Taurus leadership and product development teams
• Build strong relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, and hospital stakeholders
• Support product evaluations, educational programs, and the account-development process in partnership with management
• Maintain field inventory, account activity, and CRM documentation

You likely have 3–5+ years of experience in gastroenterology or endoscopy
, including direct experience supporting endoscopic procedures. Experience as a field clinical specialist, clinical educator, endoscopy nurse/technician, or in a similar procedural medical-device role is strongly preferred.

We’d especially like to meet candidates who have:

• Strong knowledge of GI anatomy, endoscopic procedures, and closure/hemostasis therapies
• Experience training physicians and clinical staff on medical devices
• Confidence and good judgment in the endoscopy suite
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build credibility with clinical teams
• Strong attention to detail and an interest in understanding why devices perform the way they do in real-world clinical use
• The ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-moving, early-stage company
• Willingness to travel approximately 50–75%, including overnight travel and occasional short-notice case coverage
• Clinical credentials such as RN, CGRN, CST, RT, or an equivalent GI/endoscopy technician background are a plus, as is prior experience with through‑the‑scope clips and GI closure or hemostasis.

Base salary: $90,000–$110,000
, depending on experience and location, plus eligibility for a target incentive bonus.

The position is field-based in the Eastern United States and requires significant regional travel.
