Cardiac Sonographer
Setting: Healthcare Facilities Job Type: Travel Pay:3561 Week Hours:40.00 Location: Boston, MA

The cardiac sonographer performs routine and complexechocardiography. Prepares and positions patient for echocardiography exam and explains procedure. Operates cardiac ultrasound, doppler and similar equipment to perform procedures according to physician's directive. Observes the screen during the scan to ensurea satisfactory image for diagnostic purposes making adjustments as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A certification from an accredited ultrasound/sonographyschool
• One year of experience as an ultrasound technician/sonographer preferred
• Current BLS card
• Current TB test or chest x-ray
• Current physical exam per state or contract requirements
