CT Technologist

Position Summary

Under general supervision of the CT Manager, and following established policies and procedures, operates a CT (computed tomography) scanner to obtain images for use by physicians in diagnoses and treatment of pathologies. The technologist provides technical and ancillary support to the department mission through demonstrated clinical and academic competency in CT, defined by completing training, meeting all clinical responsibilities, working unsupervised in the clinical setting, willingness to rotate to all areas as needed, and holding appropriate licensure and advanced certification, as required by the ARRT, the ACR, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

40 hours per week. Days:
Sunday and Monday (9:00a.m.–9:30p.m.) and Tuesday and Wednesday (11:00a.m.–7:30p.m.).

Range: $48.90–$62.03 per hour, based on education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology.
• CT specialty required or obtained within one year of employment.
• BLS or CPR certification.
