Travel CT Technologist – Level I Trauma Hospital Contract in Boston, MA
Join an experienced imaging team as a CT Technologist in Boston, Massachusetts. This 13-week travel radiology assignment offers the opportunity to work in a Level I trauma hospital while using advanced Siemens CT technology to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,650–$2,840
- Location: Boston, Massachusetts 02115
- Healthcare Setting: On-site hospital;
Level I trauma environment - Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- Rotation: Non-rotating night schedule
- Assignment: 13-week travel contract

Job Requirements
- Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program
- Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist and CT Technologist licensure
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography or an equivalent credential
- At least 1 year of CT experience required; 2–3 years of radiologic technology experience preferred
- Level I trauma experience required
- Siemens CT scanner experience required
- Competency with contrast administration and venipuncture according to applicable policies and scope of practice
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging processes, protocols, techniques, and cross-sectional anatomy
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to support patients experiencing physical or emotional stress
- Ability to float among assigned radiology clinics and divisions and remain flexible with coverage needs
- Operate CT scanners, power injectors, patient monitoring devices, laser printers, and related diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Acquire high-quality CT images in accordance with established departmental protocols.
- Prepare, position, immobilize, and protect patients appropriately for each examination.
- Select appropriate imaging factors and accurately image designated body regions.
- Explain examinations clearly while addressing each patient’s physical, emotional, and educational needs.
- Perform venipuncture and administer contrast under radiologist direction while following contrast safety procedures.
- Calibrate and verify CT equipment before use and promptly report malfunctions or repair needs.
- Complete required documentation and radiology information system functions, including exam completion and image transfer to PACS.
- Transport and transfer patients using established safety procedures.
- Prepare and maintain equipment rooms, supplies, and work areas.
- Participate in staff meetings, in-services, continuing education, research, quality assurance, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support students and other personnel through instruction and clinical guidance when assigned.
- Use sound judgment, initiative, and professionalism when performing CT examinations in a fast-paced trauma environment.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and collaborate effectively with imaging, nursing, medical, and other hospital personnel.
