Schedule:
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Sunday through Saturday, with scheduled days off on Monday and Tuesday. Rotating holiday coverage required.
No Essential Functions
Responsibilities- Sweep, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
- Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
- Clean walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and glass surfaces.
- Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas.
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenish supplies as needed.
- Remove debris from building grounds and surrounding areas.
- Operate high- and low-speed floor care equipment, including stripping and buffing machines.
- Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for special events and routine hospital activities.
- Identify and report building maintenance needs within assigned areas.
- Follow established safety, infection control, and departmental procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.

Experience:
Experience working with the cleaning equipment and chemicals used in hospitals and healthcare centers. 2-3 years required.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently but also be a team player.
- Good communication and comprehension skills.
