Job SummarySchedule:
Per Diem, pick up shifts as needed;
Day Shift, Monday-Friday; 8 and 10 hour days with variable start times starting at 6:30am-9am. The GI Certified Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in supporting patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of sterile technique and patient safety.
- Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, and equipment for endoscopic procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards
- Assist physicians and clinical staff during GI procedures
- Handle, clean, and process endoscopic equipment according to established protocols
- Anticipate procedural needs and contribute to efficient workflow
- Promote a safe, positive experience for patients throughout their care journey
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Surgical Technologist Certification required
- NBSTSA certification required
- Current OR or Ambulatory Surgery experience
