The Senior Technical Associate II, Maternal Health Care leverages deep technical and subject matter expertise in maternal (perinatal) health care, clinical expertise, and maternal health quality Improvement (QI) to develop high-quality deliverables; use JSI-customized frameworks to develop strategies and solutions; secure new projects through proposal and project development; engage with clients and partners; and collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
The Senior Technical Associate II reports to a Sr. Associate II or Principal and may supervise staff, as assigned. This position can be based in the U.S. where JSI is registered.
Responsibilities- Use specialized expertise to develop training and provide technical assistance and QI coaching to teams nationwide, including identifying patient safety bundle implementation barriers and data needs.
- Apply frameworks and evidence-informed methodological approaches, tools, and best practices to projects.
- Serve as a Nurse Planner and oversee CE/CME, maintaining compliance across accrediting organizations to align with staffing and governance standards.
- Review and approve deliverables and ensure clinical accuracy and quality.
- Facilitate day-to-day project activities and provide direct technical assistance to state or jurisdiction teams to build capacity to implement and sustain maternal health best practices and ensure the successful implementation of the workplan.
- Facilitate timely resource sharing, referrals, and maternal health best practice implementation support.
- Provide technical assistance on data collection, reporting, analysis to support state or jurisdiction teams with accurate reporting of data, including identifying technical assistance topics and subject matter expert speakers.
