We are seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support department operations, demonstrating expertise in all related tasks.
Responsibilities include- receiving, sorting, cleaning, and decontaminating reusable instruments and equipment according to manufacturer guidelines,
- operating cleaning and sterilization machinery,
- inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments,
- preparing trays and monitoring sterilizer settings,
- leading workflow in the absence of the SPD Manager,
- training staff,
- managing department safety and documentation.
Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED
, a minimum of three years of sterile processing experience
, and certifications such as CRCST or CSPDT
.
candidates should obtain the CER certification within one year if not already held.
Strong communication, troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of sterilization processes are essential to ensure smooth operations.
