Clinical operations are structured to accommodate day shift locum tenens coverage throughout the assignment period.
About the Facility Location The area offers clinicians on assignment a range of cultural, historical, and culinary experiences across distinct neighborhoods, including the North End, Beacon Hill, and Chinatown. Notable institutions such as the Museum of Science and Fenway Park, as well as landmarks along the Freedom Trail, provide options for clinicians during time away from the assignment. A bike-share program and water tours operating from the harbor complement the area's walkable layout, and day trips to destinations such as Salem, located approximately 30 miles north and accessible by train, provide additional options.
About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide outpatient primary care services to a patient population of all ages at an on-site clinic, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on a day shift schedule. The expected caseload is 14 patients per day, structured as 7 patients in the morning and 7 in the afternoon, with 1 hour of administrative time allotted for every 4 hours worked.
Clinical responsibilities encompass the evaluation and management of primary care conditions across all age groups, with the majority of patients being adults. Required credentials include a state PA license, DEA registration, prescriptive authority, and one reference; board certification is negotiable, with a credentialing timeframe of approximately 7 days.
