Job DescriptionThe Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is located in the center of the bustling Seaport District. The AAA Four Diamond rated hotel boasts 1,054 finely appointed guestrooms with 52 suites, seven delectable dining experiences, a scenic rooftop pool, a luxury Breve Spa, and more than 100,000 square feet of meeting and event space, allowing to provide each guest a unique and memorable experience.

Hourly Rate$31.12 per hour.
Barback Responsibilities- Must have knowledge of a variety of alcoholic beverages, must retain and maintain complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items.
- Work with bartenders and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked throughout the event.
- Ensures compliance with all health, safety, sanitation awareness, hotel standards, and local laws.
- Responsible for ensuring high‑quality bar sets, service, food and beverage quality and presentation.
- Respond to guests’ requests in an accurate and timely manner, creating a positive outcome that will result in a memorable experience.
- Attend all required department trainings and meetings.
- Perform any other duties required by management including but not limited to assisting house persons with set up and break down of all the banquet bar areas as needed.
- Candidate must have hands‑on food and beverage knowledge and a comprehensive, working knowledge of the hospitality business.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high‑profile events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Highly developed customer service skills; possessing a friendly approachable demeanor and strong problem‑solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Candidate must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and be able to handle multiple priorities.
- A minimum of relevant banquet bar experience in a large convention hotel is strongly preferred.
