The Catering General Manager works side by side with catering and kitchen team members while leading and inspiring teams to exceed client expectations through authentic hospitality, thoughtful leadership, and strong operational execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
We expect our Catering General Managers to:
- Lead with warmth, professionalism, and accountability
- Deliver exceptional client experiences while upholding Tatte's hospitality and product standards
- Support and develop catering and kitchen team members through coaching and leadership
- Maintain high standards for food quality, organization, cleanliness, and operational execution
- Lead teams through fast paced production and fulfillment environments

- Have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrate full ownership of Catering operations, including overall kitchen performance and P&L management
- Manage catering production and service according to established operational standards
- Model authentic, warm, and welcoming hospitality while fostering excellent client service standards
- Oversee administrative responsibilities including scheduling, driver scheduling, inventory, purchasing, ordering, hiring, and staffing levels
- Partner with the Catering Sales team to support client relationships and business growth
- Assist Catering leadership with development and refinement of kitchen processes and standard operating procedures
- Ensure catering kitchen teams follow recipe, portioning, presentation, production, and quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels while ensuring product availability and operational efficiency
- Oversee training related to food preparation, equipment operation, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Support development of managers and hourly team members through coaching, feedback, and performance conversations
- Establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules throughout the catering kitchen
- Maintain compliance with company safety and sanitation standards
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and operational planning as needed
- Other related assignments as necessary
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work 10+ hour shifts and stand, sit, squat, or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Passion for culinary excellence and exceptional hospitality
- Strong operational knowledge and understanding of systems, methods, and processes that support successful execution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively within fast paced environments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Previous experience with Ulti Pro, Toast POS, Crunch Time, and Teamworks preferred
- Serv Safe, Allergen, and Choke Saver certifications preferred
- Competitive Pay: $82,000-$97,000 annually, depending on experience
