SUMMARY
The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. They will park and retrieve guest vehicles promptly and safely, assist guests with luggage, including delivery and pick‑up during arrival and departure, and provide courteous direction and support to guests throughout their stay.
COMPENSATIONHourly base pay range: $15.50 – $17.50 per hour, plus tips (average $40 in tips per shift). Compensation is based on candidate’s job‑related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
WORK SCHEDULEOpen availability. The site operates 7 days a week from 7:00am to 11:00pm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients; greet guests within five feet, use guest last names, and apply a salutation of the day.
- Parking and vehicle retrieval – drive slowly and cautiously while parking and retrieving vehicles; assume responsibility for opening vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
- Assist guests with luggage, bell services, and luggage storage; provide directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested.
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival; issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from all guests before issuing keys; complete and maintain all ticket information, including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt; consistently record location on key tags.
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when required.
- Overall Time Distribution – 25% greetings and phone etiquette; 10% parking and vehicle handling; 20% guest assistance; 10% claim checks and ticketing; 35% remaining duties; total 100% of time.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Licensure: Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance from the state.
- Work Experience: At least one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge: Principles and processes for customer and personal services; understanding of 24‑hour and military time systems; awareness of applicable rates; ability to operate a manual transmission and perform parallel parking.
- Skills: Read and write standard English, comprehend simple instructions and memos, write simple correspondence, present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings to guests, clients, and employees; perform basic arithmetic with American money units, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; understand time‑based rates; operate a manual transmission and perform parallel parking.
Responsibilities include frequent talking or hearing, extended periods of sitting or standing, occasional running, walking, handling objects, reaching with hands and arms, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Lifting: up to 100lbs occasionally, up to 50lbs frequently, up to 20lbs constantly.
The majority of the job is performed outdoors under external conditions such as extreme heat and cold weather. Employees may be required to work outdoors for extended periods, including the full duration of their shift. Light travel may be required (up to 5%).
