Position OverviewGrab the reigns and help shape the future of the Seaport's best kept secret. Creativity must infuse everything we do. The Nail Technician provides quality, professional services to guests and uses professional skills to meet the individual needs of each guest serviced. Ability to prescribe the appropriate regimen of nail products and services for each guest.
Responsibilities- Provide the highest possible standard of treatment, creating a sensory journey for guests to help them rest, relax and regain balance.
- Begin and end treatments at the published time and ensure correct procedures are followed.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are fully stocked in your treatment room.
- Set up the nail stations and pedicure thrones according to procedures and dispose of laundry on a timely basis.
- Maintain accurate inventory so you are prepared for your day.
- Relay product and service benefits to clients with confidence.
- Attend all required department trainings and meetings.
- Perform any other duties required by management.
- Must possess current State Cosmetology License.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours during busy times and high-profile events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be passionate about providing warm, engaging, and personalized service.
- Must meet standards of appearance and maintain a high level of personal hygiene.
- Must possess the ability to handle stressful and busy hotel operations with a positive, professional demeanor.
