Cafeteria Attendant

Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is a AAA Four Diamond destination located in the heart of the bustling Seaport District.

The Cafeteria Attendant is responsible for all prep, production, and cleanliness of the cafeteria operation, in accordance with hotel standards. The attendant supports and feeds all associates and prioritizes cleanliness and food quality.

• Contribute to the day‑to‑day cafeteria operation, including efficient food production.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation standards and prepare for daily health department and Ecosure inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in food preparation areas, refrigeration, storage areas, food and beverage service areas, hallways, corridors, and storerooms.
• Ensure the correct standards are maintained and deliver high food quality and presentation.
• Support the upkeep, safety and cleanliness of all relevant areas.

• Hands‑on food and beverage knowledge and comprehensive, working knowledge of the hospitality business.
• Willingness to work flexible hours during busy times and high‑profile events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Highly developed customer‑service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple priorities while maintaining composure.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Serve Safe certified.

Local 26

Contract:

starting rate of $23.16/hour; after 6 months $24.81/hour; after one year $33.08/hour.
