Housekeeper

Schedule:

40 hours, Tuesday-Saturday 11am-7:30pm and 40 Hours, Tuesday - Saturday 11am-7:30pm

Pays $20.00 - $21.20 per hour, DOE (Salary ranges provided are based on relevant experience and skill set)

Locations:
Within the following Boston MA work sites:
Food Service Building; 414 Harrison Ave.; 434 Harrison Ave.; 444 Harrison Ave.; 363 Albany St.

Summary of Position:

The Housekeeper will perform daily Bathroom/Lobby Attendant – Men's Inn, weekly, and monthly laundering and cleaning responsibilities as determined by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

Must be able to work comfortably in the Men's Inn bathrooms when in full use – cleaning would take place while in use.

Requirements

Education/Training:

• High school Diploma or GED
• Ability to read and understand printed labels, signage, and instructions
• The ability to understand and speak English

Knowledge/

Experience:

• Minimum of six (6) months of institutional or commercial industry cleaning

Preferred:

• Knowledge of industry standards as applied to Sanitation and General Procedures

Physical Abilities/

Skills:

• Ability to perform frequent bending, standing, stooping, stretching and walking
• Ability to turn over twenty-five (25) pound mattress for cleaning
• Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
• Ability to perform frequent and repetitive motions to perform all types of cleaning functions
