Job Summary
Flik Hospitality Group – Salary: $68,000 - $70,000 per year.
As a Conference Planner, you will be responsible for Guest Services at the Harvard Conference Center, ensuring guests’ needs are met with a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and communicate the expressed needs of customers to all departments.
- Work closely with the Sales Training Department to arrange and reserve space for trainings/meetings, and keep abreast of changes, additions, and customer comments.
- Act as a liaison between the Conference Center and all customers.
- Prepare all group service orders using room reservation software.
- Collaborate with the Audio Visual & Conference Services Departments to ensure room set‑ups, A.V. needs, and special requests are met.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Department for food quality, menu maintenance, and customer feedback assessment.
- Assist the General Manager in analyzing all aspects of the Training Center operation and reporting on any issues.
- Assist the General Manager in creating quarterly Operational Review reports, including PowerPoint slides and compiling data from the space management system.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required if you have related conference services experience.
- At least two years of hotel or conference center experience.
- Knowledge of current industry trends.
- Superior quantitative, oral, and written communication and problem‑solving/strategizing skills.
- Excellent overall computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proactive mindset to anticipate and support changes in business.
